Two ten mile circuits completed on Sunday. Will be referring to the "training plan" about tapering and such technical stuff.
Mrs M`s foot has recovered well, although we were both making noises like old folk yesterday evening!

And so it goes on....... 12 miles on Saturday morning, home for lunch & to dodge the rain. Then a pretty brutal 15 miles in the afternoon. Even though it is "inner city" training there is something lovely about the green spaces we have amongst all the industrial background. "Tapering" starts today..... :):):)

Have a good walk!

I completed PDC last weekend in an official time of 19 hours and 40 minutes. My watch time was 17 hours 34 minutes (this didn't include rest stops)

We survived!! More importantly we made it, we have completed a marathon!!
Mrs M had her second hip replacement 10.5 months ago and had to "dig deep" at around mile 20...... she got a bit emotional when we crossed the line hand in hand..:love:

Amazing event, organisation was superb. Pit stops & food were superb. Much kudos to Macmillan and the events team/volunteers.
The "Green Tide" along the path of hikers was properly inspirational.

So it took around 11 hours with stops but who cares!!! :):)

Popped up to London Town Sunday morning to see the niece while we were nearby.
Had already had first breakfast at our AirBnB place.
Niece suggested we went to Frankie & Bennys for "brunch"....
I was still ridiculously hungry... :D:D:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
