Yeh it’s scab cus tis all the right signs of it

If you only have one sheep then I suggest you make sure it is kept isolated, however if as I suspect you have more than one then all the others will also have Scab.
You need to get definite confirmation that it has Scab and not as pointed out Lice.

The symptoms are exactly the same!

If you have been using Dectomax all the time then it is quite possible you have resistance to it.
You have no option but to Dip these sheep to clear it up and prevent it spreading to your neighbours.

First of all though make sure it is Scab.

I had a couple I was unsure of, ripped some wool off and took it to the vets, they looked at it through microscope charged me about a tenner and said it was scab. Bought cydectin 2% to do them all with, very expensive and a horrible job to do behind the ear but anything to get rid of it

Once treated get it/ them away to a different field that hasn't had sheep in it for 18 days as scab ( if it actually is scab, I'd have thought more than one would be showing signs) can live on fences, gates etc and its life cycle is 17 days I think!
