I know its probably not what you want to hear, but I would have refunded them the entire amount and just re-listed it. Just got to face it that when you're dealing with the great unwashed you get a numpty from time to time. Best not to get involved with them any more than you have to.
what's occurred then,the abbreviated version?

eBay: Some great people, some duffers. Plenty that win an auction and just dont pay up, or change their minds 2 days later. I did have heated exchanges with a few, but what's the point. eBay generally takes the side of the buyer. My advice; if the goods are still in your possession (as they should be), just re-list and move on with your life. Just claim the seller fees back, so you're not out of pocket.

too many people go on ebay with the idea that its like real life, treat it like everyone will do you and you'll get on fine

example- guy i know sold something, the other guy picked it up , item was worth £600, he then goes on to say he hasn't received it and then gets the paypal refund of 600 quid off ebay, not sure what happened but probably relying on mate doing nothing. everyone's an arsehole on there and its not worth the hassle selling/ buying anything over £50.

yeh, thats how the guy paid, with cash, and then claimed through ebay he hadn't received it and ebay took money out of mates bank account that was connected to his ebay.

All jokes aside he's quite welcome as long as he plays nicely, never though I would but I kind of miss his posts !!

Clive, you've caught the disease ............ multiple exclamation mark use :ROFLMAO: Don't worry it's early stages at the moment as you have only used two together. When you get it real bad you might even get up to the heady heights of 10 consecutive exclamation marks. Some of those of BFF have got it real bad
