I've got bateman cattle hurdles from 2017, they are heavy enough. They couldn't be described as mobile if they were any heavier. Like gates they can be made to any spec, i guess if you want them to be beat a competitor's price they find a way?
Just as feed mills can change the spec on a load of feed if pressed too much on price. It can still be 18% or whatever but with lower ME. It's just a matter of pressing a few buttons on a keyboard these days.

No response from Wynnstay at all so sent a message on Batemans website , had a reply which asked for photo's as above, sent these to them a fortnight ago and a reminder today to which I received the following response..

We cannot draw a conclusion from the photos.
These could have been at the depot for a long period of time for all we are aware.
Galvanising is NOT a 100% guarantee of anti corrosion.
However if you wish to return them to the depot and be credited for them please ask the depot to issue us with the order number and we will ensure the credit is passed onto them.

Upshot is at least they will take them back , problem now is they were put in place and walls built around them , so finding similar size etc is next job? What about the cost of this?

To be fair to bateman if they collected them then I can't see them doing much more. Seeing the money they charge for the gear there can't be a huge margin in it, it just winds me up when they cost themselves more money by not using a tape.

Anyone know what size the big pins are on Bateman sheep race is? We bought a second hand race and 2 forcing pens the other day all sheeted gates, most are on big pins and theirs some smaller pins?

Anyone know what the 2 pin sizes are and what size hole is ideal for the eye? - I need 3 made up and welded on as previous owner cut them off.
