Recognise a lot of those places on the southern tour as I went there last year.hoping to return next year.i loved it.very little traffic and easy to get about and not lots of people either.hellishly expensive though.went with nephews for 3 days and cost me £3000.

I did a tour from Reykjavik along the South so far then back. Very beautiful country. I remember the tour operator going into a bit abut the farming out there, was very interesting but inturupted by noisy Japanese tourists sadly. Apparently they are growing arable crops again as their climate has become. Much milder again the last 20 years or so.

I reconise several of those places.my nephews took me,but I paid,in March 2018.hoping to return next year.they got a hire car and we done southern tour staying in front of tourist buses.wish I’d spent more time exploring Reykjavík but hopefully will on next visit.

No I didn’t.hoping to go again next year and venture up to akureyri aswell as do southern tour again and explore Reykjavík

Out of the window just now
the north and the north east is a nice area. Colder and drier.
Akureyri in eyjafjodur is beautiful, high mountains and the sea in front of you.
