As above. Those small details that would make a machine more user friendly.
Yes I know I could install this myself but....also realize today's machines are a major improvement over what our forefathers dealt with....
Anyway.... why can't I have an outlet for phone char4ger behind the passenger seat....and factory installed nonslip cladding...

You could take that a step further, why not a wireless charging pad on the back of the passenger seat.

Wouldn't have this issue in a Valtra. Left hand console has an area of stuff to put all this gubbins. (y)

How’s about NOT fitting stereos whose stupid little lcd screen fills up with dust so that you can’t seen the station and end up listening to the morons on Tay FM all day coz you’ve given up trying to retune the bollox.

Also, a very minor detail applicable for all manufacturers-
stop trying to feck us over on spare parts.
Contrary to what your preconceptions of farmers may be, we CAN actually use the internet, and it’s NOT actually that hard to find identical non branded starters, alternators, radiators, track rod ends, bearings, wearing parts etc at a fraction of what you’re trying to extract from us.
You can claim all the bumf you like about “guaranteed quality” but when an eBay purchase turns up for 1/5 of the cost of what you’ve tried to oil us up for, with your part no. stamped on it, it’s no surprise we don’t buy from you.
Looking at you Japanese forklift manufacturer, looking at you. 😤

Oh for a simple, 5-6 push button FM radio... Got some fancy piece of aftermarket tech in the Kubota that completely does it's own thing. A right PITA. The only positive about it, is that I can BT Sounds of the Seventies from my phone

Bought an exhaust manifold from cat dealer and had the choice of a cat one or aftermarket. 400$ difference and had to wait a couple of days for the aftermarket one. Bought the genuine CAT one. CAT on the box, wrapping paper and bill. Made in China stamped on the manifold. Wtf

If manufacturers could make a basic, simple tractor but with front and cab suspension would be a good start.
Even better would be if they could do without all the common rail stuff as well.
You're not going to get away with non emissions compliant engines in the UK but everything else you want exists. Depending on the size most manufacturers have a basic tractor.
Not many people order basic tractors in the UK but I'm fairly sure you could if you wanted to.

Why can’t the genuine CAT part be made in China? Half the parts in the original machine will be made in there.
