In reply to the OP who asked what manufacturer made these, you are all most probably wrong. If the question had been which make of tractor were these supplied with or to fit, Massey Ferguson would have been the correct answer.
Let me explain further. I worked for a Great company called A C BAMLETT. LTD OF THIRSK in the early 1970's and up to the time Oliver Rix sold the company to JEFF EVANS it had a considerable foundry capacity on site.In fact if you walked around many of the Towns in that area of Yorkshire a lot of the cast iron manhole covers were inscribed Bamlett. With change of ownership the foundry closed ,but as we had lots of orders for those front end weight as shown in the photo We then bought them in largely from a Company in Bingley near Bradford by the lorry load. They came 2 tons to a pallet unpainted, we drilled and thread tapped them 8 at time sprayed them red (only red) and shipped them with our other products such as yard scrapers, disc harrows and Tive Grain drills and to start with Econ hedge cutters and Gritters .They were supplied to M F dealers all over England one dealer I remember that would order 5 or 10 tons at at time was the John Ritchies Group of FAKENHAM ,NORWICH AND WOODBRIDGE.
What I could never understand was that no one not even M F imprinted. a name on them something that could have been so easily done by altering the casting mould slightly. Regarding the price each I can only imagine it was very much like now when for non genuine items there can be a large saving to be made.

No is the answer to your question. Rough time line of events are Up to 1969/70 A C Bamlett were owned by the Oliver Rix Group M D Changes from W J (bill)Lupton to G H Evans.(ex Western mac & equip co). 1970 company sold for £1 to G H Evans, name changed to Bamlett Farm Machinery ltd. Foundry and manufacture of machines begin to end. Work force reduced From 140 (approx)to 20. Import of TIVE drills and pneumatic fert spreaders begin. Partnership agreement (50/50) with Bamfords to make yard scraper at Mold factory. Some equipment also made by Russell's of Kirkbymoorside. Late 71 company approached by W Fabian (MR SAME) Wilkinson and signed up by SAME of Italy to import and market S A M E tractors in the U K. 1972 all products connected to W J Lupton were transferred back to his company Econoheat of Ripon, where he continued with the LUPAT brand name . Sometime later (mid/late 70's) tractors started trading as SAMETRAC LTD but still at the B F M works in Thirsk. Other equipment came on board like Vaderstad,Bogballe,Pettit,Barford of Belton,Rau etc,and Knight Farm Machinery of Corsham Wilts( this caused increase in work force and a large cost to start manufacture again.) Jan 1986 Sametrac move to Barby nr Rugby .In April 1986 they changed their name to Same Lamborghini ltd (now S D F UK Ltd). Meanwhile back in Thirsk B F M were awarded the Burke Trophy at the 1986 Royal show. Sadly just one month later this once great company started 125 years earlier by Adam C Bamlett went into Receivership.
Everything was sold. The Tive and Vaderstad products ended up in Thetford, the Barford type drills went to Richard Western, some machines went to Astwell augers at Thrapston and Keith Rennie created his successful company K R M mainly from the Bredall and Bogballe products.

Sorry if it's a bit of a long story. The lesson I have learnt from years in business is --- It's not only gold that glitters!
