Is the 2ah enough or bigger
I don't have any m12
Or set of 2 with bag

2amp are usefull as cheap and light weight/compact, but both tools need the 6amp really, die grinder is so much better with 6amp but the soldering iron the 6amp works really well because you can stand the iron up on the battery with out it falling over all the time.

standard M18 charger does both 12v and 18v batts so just buy the bare tools you want is normally the best way.

Presumably only buy genuine batteries

I cant recommend non genuine no and the cost of Milwaukee batteries isnt really that bad unless your wanting the higher 8 or 12 amps ones then it gets expensive, but so are the tools that require the higher amp.
Genuine batteries in my experience last forever unless you drop them awkwardly.

Looking for a new 1/2” impact gun and probably a couple of 5ah batteries, not pushed for a charger unless it comes in a well priced bundle. Any suggestions where’s good to buy from? I’ll be giving my local agri dealer a try as well as they always have a promo leaflet on, can’t seem to find an online version of something like that though.

Paxton's, Northallerton branch.

Speak to Phil, or Philwaukee as we've called him.

Is there different ranges/grades of Milwaukee tools? Guy was telling me yesterday who is after some new tools that a local dealer near him told him that there is 2 or 3 grades I think he said of Milwaukee tools. Pro/DIY etc?

I’ve got a fairly new mid-torque ½” kit myself but without ‘onekey’. The latest model I think.
Milwaukee M18FMTIW2F12-502X 18V
Mid Torque Impact Wrench with Friction Ring Kit

The last 12 in the model number denotes ½” while the first one I referenced has 38 to denote ⅜”. The 502X denotes the full kit bundle.

It cost me £258+VAT which included two 5Ah batteries and fast charger in a case. The 5Ah batteries are significantly better than my existing 4Ah batteries when used intensively, for instance on an angle grinder trimming cow’s hoofs with the special disc. With four batteries with two on the two chargers I have, there’s no issue doing 15+ cows without running out of juice.

The mid torque wrench supplements the impact drill that does the smaller fasteners and general drilling and screwing such as Tec screws etc.
The high torque impact wrenches are real beasts but I have no use that would justify one of them.
