They actually look very similar, and according to this
https://www.lidl.de/de/asset/other/283237_DE.pdf

Page 4 the lidl 20v actually run at 18v. So they may fit. The question is whether anyone has both and is willing to risk trying one in an expensive tool!

Even if it did fit i doubt it would last long cause the milwaukee batteries are full of elecy stuff to protect it from overloading, excess heat and running too flat etc etc. For £11 i doubt the lidi one has much in the way of that sort of stuff? I bet its not many amps either?

Theres loads of milwaukee batteries on ebay and genuine 3amp ones not too expensive and even 4amp if you look. But beware the ton of knock off copies on there although i bet some of them are okay for varst majority of people/tasks?

Its a 2ah batt so if it worked it would power say the grinder for all of 2minutes i expect:ROFLMAO::scratchhead:

4amp and 5amp are the minimum really to get best out of the newer milwaukee stuff. Latest is 9amp and 12amp! Now they are expensive bats.

Those 9ah batteries are good though. Brought a HD blower yesterday and its more powerful than the petrol Stihl it replaced, batteries lasted ages!

For C.... sake stop overthinking a simple question.

I have for many years had a ryobi one +...the batteries are knackered. I can get a converter to work milwalke batteries in the one plus.
So, thinking out of the box, if the lidl battery will fit a milwalkie , i can then fit lidl battery in the one +...... such a simple request which i will now repeat.

Milkwaukee 762m3/hr
Stihl 755m3/hr

Milwaukee 193km/hr
Stihl 247km/hr

Not quite as powerful on paper, but seems better sweeping OSR off the grainstore floor.

maths not my strong point, but 240 volts at 1000 watts would = 5 amps,
so would 20 volts at 2 amps 40000 milliamps ?
if so it would make a great drone battery :cautious:
