I have added to my collection today, i have ordered the milwaukee hoover and a 9ah battery. Our hand held dyson battery lasts all of 30 seconds now so my wife wanted a new hoover for the stairs and i wanted it for the cars

A deal was struck that i fund half and the house account funds half as it will have domestic duties, but i can whip the 9ah out and wack it in the grinder if needed!??

Prices include vat so I’ll get that back, is there anything on there anyone would really steer away from or am I missing any really useful bits I should add on?
Also is it worth getting the extra batteries or will they charge faster than you can drain them? I work away from the yard quite a bit so don’t want to get half way through a job an run out of battery’s!
How about a die grinder. Good tool

Been thinking about that one, may see what the January sales bring.
I wouldn't mind the -
#1 Die grinder
#2 Leaf blower (handy for blowing grain of the back of trailers when tipping)
#3 9” grinder
#4 1” impact gun

Never know though, Santa may empty his big red sack under my tree if I’m lucky ?

Get the die grinder @Phil P , I use it more then the regular grinder.
-for making a hole bigger
- making a hole any shape you want
- deburring
- Cutting a shunk out of something without a starter hole (with the right burr)
I have a bluepoint air die grinder that gets regular use in the workshop so not short of a die grinder as such, however the cordless would be more portable and handy for jobs out and about.
I have various sizes of sanding flap wheels for cleaning holes/bushes etc along with the usual burr tools so It’s really handy for cleaning stuff up.

I may have read on here i forget, does she like it or just a gimmick... our lass thretening one for my present
She wouldn't be with out it for standing about at kids rugby on a Saturday morning or doing the book during herd tests. Chose the hoodie over the coat as heat is closer to skin and you can put a coat over top to keep heat in. Uses 2ah batteries and they last at least a few hours at full pelt.

Thanks

I use a set of snap-on carbide ones like these, had them along time now

Also have various cheap ones and find these flap wheels really useful for just polishing stuff up.
