if you don’t need the torque, then yes, an air ratchet will be much smaller. Most air ratchets have less than half the torque of that Milwaukee one. Your standard air ratchets are around 1/4 of that torque.

I thought he was referring to the die grinder? They are big but very gutsy. Lethal in the wrong hands.

I bought an M18 1/2” Hi Torque impact gun last year - works exceptionally well and would definitely buy again - not come across a nut it won’t open.

However, It’s hardly done any work and is kept clean and dry in the workshop - has anyone had issues with the trigger mechanism - sometimes it doesn’t work at all or just operates at very very low revs?

Yer had that had to take it apart and clean it

Send it to c j Sinclair while it's still under warranty.

You just register the fault online and Milwaukee will send courier you just print the labels.

Just got ours back from Sinclairs after it wouldn’t change direction with the switch, for some reason they said it wasn’t under warranty as nit been registered 😏 strange how everything else I got at same time had been but not that 🙄 so cost about £100 to fix

I might send my new combi drill back cause the f/r switch is a pain in the arse. Forwards it has to be pressed hard full across or you can pull trigger. Reverse is no issue just knock it across and it works everytime, cant do that in forwards as easy.

Is there a problem with the trigger mechanisms ? Seems like there are a few with the same(ish) problems
