Been really happy with this. 115mm. 5amp batteries.
It's got some go, works well đź‘Ť
I'm planing one of those too. I'm just waiting for SGS to get the packout case for them back in stock as it's cheaper than buying one already in a hard case from anyone else as in buying this https://www.powertoolmate.co.uk/Products/00400006001a/MILM18CAG115XPDB-502X%2FE and this https://www.sgs-engineering.com/milwaukee-packout-case-for-m18fid2-and-m18cag115xpdb for ÂŁ237 + VAT instead of this https://www.bigredpowertools.co.uk/milwaukee-m18cag115xpdb-502x

As my super lidl grinder wouldn't work other day and made me look a fool , could be temperature prob -4 which milwakee should i go for , i have 5 amp batteries m18 125 mm might b nice if it can function. Or 115 mm

Just buy the cheaper latest 115mm braked grinder and if you want 125mm then buy the 125mm guard separately from C J Sinclair as there the same grinders.

A lot of Milwaukee gear is out of stock with various sellers just now.
Anyone know if there is a particular reason?

Power tool mate are the biggest sellers of it they have stock coming and going all the time, they now do raffles too for tool bundles and even new vans packs with tools which has been a massive hit, selling out tickets in minutes and crashing the raffle hosts website many times :ROFLMAO:

Seems cheap ? But reviews say there all flat ?
Odd tool station is a reputable national isn't it 🤔
I know they used to sell milwaukee but don't now so old stock ?

what price were you seeing. I was getting a price of ÂŁ38 which for a 3Ah battery is not particularly cheap.
even Screwfix have 5Ah at ÂŁ46, which is well worth ÂŁ8 in my opinion.

Yes ÂŁ38 delivered

That screwfix shows ÂŁ55 to me ?
Sorry, thought your tool station price of £38was ex vat. , but checked again and it’s inc vat. So maybe not too bad.
if you’re only using a drill or small impact driver, then 3Ah is fine.

There all old stock, if a Milwaukee battery gets below a set charge then the chargers wont regonise it. The fix is simple, take a fully charged battery and jump it with a couple wires to the flat one for a short while to bring the charge up in the flat one so charger recognises it. Then they will charge as normal.

These are standard 3amp batts, when looking at batts be aware Milwaukee have a high demand version of 3amp 5.5amp and then the 8amp and 12amp. High demand has better cells in them with slightly higher voltage for better performance, high demand batts do not work with all M18 tools though so if considering a high demand check it will work on the tools you have. Standard batteries or high output as some have written on them now will work with all M18 tools but some of the power hungry tools will only perform at there best with the high demand batts.

Just realised I got that info the wrong way around! On phone at minute and it wont let me edit it but will correct it later.

The high output batteries are the ones which have the better cells and more performance/power.

The High demand or if not labelled as either are the standard batteries with best run time.
