i think my son has one at his work. i will try to remember to ask him.Has anyone got the flathead grinder yet? Our oldest grinder is sounding pretty rough now and fancied replacing it with the flathead but it was double the price of a standard 1 .
The wife has one for when she's watching junior at the rugby. Its a good job she wouldn't be without it.Just treated myself to a Milwaukee M12 heated jacket for when i'm out metal detecting, should be here by the end of next week

Not very impressed with this. Shook itself to bits on the impact. Only four tiny screws holding it together and the plastic has broken out. No warranty on a battery for this is there?

Just looked it up and it's in warranty but not sure how to prove it hasn't been dropped or something ( it hasn't, it's been well looked after ). If I start repairing, they'll definitely turn it downClean the joint and glue it, fit bigger screws and carry on.

I must be unlucky with my Milwaukee stuff just now.
My grease gun stripped a gear in the driveline, the impact wrench switch is unpredictable at best, and sometimes just doesn't work at all, and a fortune to replace, and now my favorite most used grinder literally ground to a halt on Friday.
Checked and its out of warranty so going to have it opened up soon, its a fuel so can't be much to go wrong with the motor, guessing its the gearbox in the head that's died. Not worth repairing if it is,a new bare tool is less than a £100.
I used to really rate Milwaukee stuff but wondering if the opposition is better now?
That said I'll still buy more as I'm locked in the batteries and chargers etc.
Are spares available for them? The grease guns are common for stripping plastic gears, that and fact I hate the shape of them is why I use Alemite 14volt grease gun.
As long as it is within warrenty, I think milwaukee has to prove it is you fault.Just looked it up and it's in warranty but not sure how to prove it hasn't been dropped or something ( it hasn't, it's been well looked after ). If I start repairing, they'll definitely turn it down
Yes I got two of that plastic gear in harvest but I think they were from ryobi as Milwaukee you had to buy motor aswellAre spares available for them?

I think
some will be, they are both owned by TTI. the best grease gun is the dewalt 18v.Are the Ryobi bits the same then?
