not milwaukee but a paint pen, i never used a milwaukee one but in my search for a damn fine marker pen that marks in the wet, dry, on rust, through oil, upside down if needs be and on anything, i use the dykem texpen.
MSC do them, tbh, i have no reason to leave them i find the product that good.
there is a rubber bulb on the end of it which you press with your thumb if the pressure is low, its more to control the flow but it means you get the last out of the pen.

as for markers, i use sharpies, cant fault them either.

Well... see, its like this...………..

I just wasn't good enough so Santa forgot about me and it was a terribly wet day on Tuesday. So I indulged in some retail therapy.

No doubt I can't justify it but there are 144blades/288 bolts to change on the Slitter. Possibly not enough torque to fully tighten them but if it runs them all up it will save a lot of time ( - so I tell myself?).

Finally took the plunge and bought a high torque 1/2" impact wrench kit £335 Inc vat and 5% back through topcashback. Tried it out for fun on maxxum wheelnuts that haven't been moved in at least 25years and it was like they were only hand tight. Very pleased
Grrrrr. Same one £309.99 for a week on eBay from powertoolmate ????

The fleet on manoeuvres - sometimes you have to get the tools dirty.

Grind out old door wheel.
Grind off concrete.
Drill in hammer fixings.
Tighten with small wrench.
Job done.

Only took half an hour - but there was the two years of planning and prevarication!!!!

Hope you did the risk assessment and had the correct work permits too ?

I’m moving into the world of Milwaukee after purchasing a 3/4” Impact wrench a few months ago. What do you guys suggest for an 18v cordless SDS drill for around the farm. Have an old makita corded drill which is used for 20mm/25mm holes when erecting steels but a nuisance having to get extension leads out.

Also after a 18v Impact driver for possi screws/tek etc. Appears to be several models for the 18v but I am not sure what to get. One says, fuel, the other says Gen3 and there is this surge model.

I have a few 5ah batteries so it doesn't matter if it’s a barebones.

I've just bought a Milwaukee 3/8 drive stubby impact wrench used it for stripping and rebuilding the front of my Land Rover engine came with a 2.0 amp battery and a 6.0 battery did the whole job using the 2.0 amp undoing well over 100 nuts, bolts and hose clips other than using my air impact wrench for undoing the crank damper bolt and we have just started a new Land Rover project and still using the 2.0 battery which is still on its first charge and once its flat i will recharge it and start using the 6.0 battery and upto now i'm well pleased with it :D

I got one just before Christmas and have to say they’re well worth the money, been short makes it a real handy little gun. I’d recommend the 3/8 ratchet also, not used my air ratchet since getting it.

Yeah i've been looking at them but they only go up to 55lbs i think it is and my CP air ratchet goes up to 100lbs so where need be i will use my air ratchet but think for most jobs the stubby will do it and anything really tight i've got my CP air wrench that goes upto 1200lbs but if they decide to make a 100lbs ratchet i will be getting one :D

The gen 3 impact driver seems to have a problem with the collet not holding onto bits very well, it's not an issue on previous models or the surge version.
We have an adapter for our 1/2" impact wrench ( compact 1) for the occasional times we need pozi/teck bits.

Did some research myself on other forums especially those diehard Milwaukee fans and he gen3 should be avoided.

I was actually surprised the number of Milwaukee fans that aren’t happy with all the new stuff released this past year or so onwards. Fuming over the build quality and reliable of their stuff. Too much Chinese involved in their gear getting.

Major praise for Mikita and their new stuff.
