My boss recently bought an assortment of tools from a reputable auction (repos returns etc ) one impact gun is brand new but can’t get it to work we are wondering if it’s been locked with one key any way around it?

I am sure that you could book it in as one of your tools and then get the one-key sorted out - it was a bit of a faff though.

My latest impact didn't work from the box either but they efficiently repaired it once I had worked out the system to book repairs.

I find the tools brilliant but the app not so brilliant.

Not yet but I’m seriously tempted everytime I need to start my stihl one just for a quick trim around the garden!! Sometimes takes more faffing about getting it to start and idle properly than trimming!

I been think of a battery one, like you say takes longer to start than to do the job

The onekey stuff has a coin cell battery to power the bluetooth I think so if you google it probably find videos on replacing it.

I've just ordered this. I'll see if they pull the 'while stocks last' ran out last week for the free grinder.

That seems hell of a deal, have you phoned and checked you get a free Milwaukee grinder?

P.S got stung for 15 quid carriage because I live in the wilds of Aberdeenshire, 5 miles from the A96 main road to the whole north of Scotland, because there was a wee asterisk after the sign that said free postage on orders over 50 quid.

I nearly got caught out last year with something else as we live in a LL postcode in North Wales! Shopped around and found it elsewhere

@Mur Huwcun , I looked around and My Tool Shed were pretty much unbeatable on price. It's not really a gripe about the company more a general whinge about the free postage postcode lottery. I know for a fact that to get products to some postcodes in Devon or Cornwall would take an age longer to get to from a distribution center than my address. However, because it is affluent Englandshire those customers are obliged with a better service than little old me. I wouldn't even mind if 24hr delivery became 2-3 days standard delivery but we just keep getting screwed over.
