Recommend me a 3/8 drive 12volt please.... something nimble and powerful....

this is the latest M18 one, But i dont really like the shape of it, head looks too big dia on it with very little nose on it to get in tighter spots???
Also it seems pointless cause its packing the same power 339nm as the 12 volt stubby!

Power tool mate are often one of the best suppliers but currently there website is off line pending an upgrade, thats why i just linked these other 2 from a random google search.

Had an email from sgs engineering with an offer, m18high torque impact and grinder with two batts and charger for £489 inc vat with a free cordless grease gun. Runs out tomorrow

Do you have a link or code for this deal? Sounds just what I’m after if it’s the new grinder. Thanks
Can't see it on the website but maybe ring them

I bought the new M18 drill and when it arrived I was frankly unimpressed, it looked tiny though it felt dense. For its first test I put on a 1'' auger bit and gave it a go on a 12'' strainer. Once it finished trying to rip my wrist off and I put the handle on it simply ripped through the strainer. No pulling back to clear chips or anything. Straight through. Very impressed with it.

I’ve got the pre brushless one and on a ladder drilling RSJs or perlins it’s lethal with a 10mm+ drill bit

Tried the high torque out today nothing special just swapping wheels over on son's land rover disco wheel nuts torque settings are 103ftlbs so set impact wrench to first gear 100ftlbs and rechecked nuts with torque wrench which went a further 1/4 of a turn before they clicked off at 103ftlbs so either the wrench is slightly out or my 30 plus year old Snap on torque wrench is out slightly 🤨

You cant use an impact wrench like that, its a very rough guide to a torque and that's it, there's too many variables that affect torque of an impact gun transmitting its power to a bolt/nut.
