Hiw are those that have got the chainsaw getting on with it?

I was looking at a Stihl battery chainsaw.....but thought that Milwaukee would allow me to use the batteries and charger for other tools (angle grinder and grease gun)

I have no Milwaukee stuff at all at present just a few Makita drills and batteries.

We are all Milwaukee here and really do like it. But I recently bought a Stihl battery chainsaw as it was the only make I tried that 'felt' like a chainsaw. I found the Milwaukee un balanced and plasticky which is a shame as it would have been a hell of a lot of a cheaper option. The Stihl was bought primarily for fencing and sits on the post driver, it performs well but I don't like the safety switch on the handle as it doesn't lend its self to using the saw on its side, its awkward sometimes when notching or shaping. Pity they hadn't put the standard type safety switch from all chainsaws that you hit with the palm of your hand.

Going to have a go with a safe lock grease coupler on my Milwaukee grease gun.
Does anyone know what thread the Milwaukee M18 GG grease guns are? and anyone tried the safe lock grease coupler?

Just bought one.
I seem to remember someone on here say that the battery can work loose after a while, so it’s worth putting a big o ring on to hold it firm.
