Dont think its gonna happen. I would pay for it, but not much.

I think it was a very good tool for spreading the resistance risk and as a building block for fungicide strategies. Without it feels very exposed to highly active but likely very quick to break down fungicides. Definitely not as valuable as a new SDHI but definitely will be missed in a high pressure year.

it’s loss will increase production costs, significantly so on crops like beans

More than likely you will be paying more for its replacement in most fungicide programes Folpet . Around as long as ctl but trials at Oak park indiciate that while it is a help its not in the same league as ctl especially on ramularia on Spring barley .

We’re now on the gravy train of new actives at premium prices,followed by the next one once it breaks down. Fungicide costs are going to spiral upwards I fear.

Nothing - it does not meet modern standards for protecting the environment and health. The world moves on, other control measures will be developed, and one day we will be amazed we used so much fungicide just like we are amazed those crazy fools used to use aldrin, carbendazim, DDT, malathion, organotins and so on.

We are in the last days of pesticides - it won't be easy but the world won't end either.

Tbh,in the dry east it wouldn't be an auto include. Maybe more use in barley.

Agree-was definitely reducing in its inclusion on wheat at the price it got to. Likewise agree for beans and ramularia though.

It was good because it was cheap. If it was the same price as SDHI we'd be highlighting its weaknesses and limitations.
