In undertaking some scientific research recently I bought a McPlant and Veggie Dippers as well as a Big Mac and chicken selects. ( contrary to popular belief I didn’t eat them all myself!) but undertook a taste test result was :- McPlant tasted very similar to the Big Mac… the plant burger itself was less chewy, obviously not meat, but not unpleasant and if I had been given the McPlant in a blindfold test I may not have been able to identify it as Plant dippers we’re surprisingly ok, red pepper and vegetables formed into a dipper, could have done with being thicker and less squidgy but again surprisingly not unpleasant so……….. What would happen to the beef trade if McDonalds went Plant based and ditched beef altogether ????? I’m not intending to be alarmist but it did occur to me that in our current Woke society, that they might just do it at some point in the future
