“Mercosur wants to increase exports of beef, sugar, poultry and other farm products.“

I bet they do
Loads of cheap tariff free or low tariff beef flooding in from Argentina
Catastrophic for the beef industry I think

Argentinian beef price is £1.95/kg dead.

Uruguay is a member of the same bloc and has the best beef traceability scheme in the world.

According to ADHB statistics
http://beefandlamb.ahdb.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/UK-Cattle-Yearbook-2018.pdf
2017 UK exported 92.3k tonnes to EU

So assuming that’s still similar I’d say the EU has decided to feck UK completely and replace UK beef imports with Mercuror beef instead

Two fingers up to UK

The EU has decided to feck over beef farmers in ALL EU country's with this deal, will not just affect the UK, like the car industry the EU is hell bent on destroying the production of anything be that metal or animal in all EU country's.

99000 tons of beef imports into the EU is agreed in the deal apparently!

And of course thanks to remainers because we have not yet left the EU no doubt we will have to take our share of the quota for that imported beef etc!

The country voted out.

You can't blame remainers for the shambles which is UK politics - and the rank rotten attitude that the EU would just bow to whatever demands the UK made in 'negotiations'

But hey, if it makes you sleep easier at night...

Don't worry BoJo will be queuing up to get his own deal! Its fantastic we can export all our so called 'polluting' industries and pat ourselves on the back for our green credentials.

Brazil clearing forests so they can produce the extra beef for this deal and then we will be asked to plant a few trees, what a joke. This deal is all about mercedes and bmw wanting to sell its cars in south america and the oil in the cogs is the eu beef industry. Thank goodness we are getting out , lets hope our government doesnt sell us out. They cannot bang the drum of climate change and then sign deals like this. It just goes to show how corrupt the eu is

But they won't see it its like they are blind to it, can't admit that they got it wrong all those years because they are to arrogant
The ref was years/decades to late and about the wrong thing and there shouldn't have been any need for it in that form had the remainers at the top not been so arrogant
But they knew and still know best well they think they do

Or thanks to the incompetence of the politicians, and the disenfranchised lunatics who voted for brexit, we couldn't veto this eu deal.

Now we have no export market at all.

EU will massage is subsidies to keeps its beef farmers from any ill effects.

Westminster will fall over itself in the rush to do a similar deal to get beef at half the price of home produce.

British beef farmers have already been flung under the campaign bus covered in deceitful slogans.

Well done to those who voted to leave, you've finished up hill farmers.
