I would rent it at 4x the price if it was truely next door, but I'm not into sucklers or cash crops.

Yes, i almost pay that for straw for so would defo take it on, grow straw producing crop and pray it broke even, then free to me straw. id put it out to tender stubble too stubble cheapest man wins, id bet i get all jobs done cheaper than i could do myself and not have to waste my life sitting in a bloody tractor.

50 pound is a bit steep for me, i'm only paying 18 an acre for the stuff i'm currently renting, and even that's debatably worth it in years like this
