If you tell lies you'll get caught out eventually

Some people can't help themselves

This will take some serious sorting out
Doesn't help that a certain semen retailer (partly owned by the society and some society staff and members) supposedly kept on selling semen despite there being known issues with the lines, and the society allowed registrations and ET work to continue, just making the problem bigger.

But that doesn't matter, they were making money.

Wouldn’t be the first time a calf was registered ‘just in time’ but I suppose they were trying to make them look younger for their size and got caught at that and then the dna test really caught them out when they didn’t match.

Serves them right.
When you are getting an inspection and the correct mother is about to calve down or has a young calf at foot, and your bull is only 6 months old, you have to let them DNA some other cow ;)

But then when he gets sold to a pedigree herd, all is revealed.

The people that have already bought semen or a jagerbomb calf aren't gonna be be best pleased , feel terribly sorry for the owner of the bull ..

What will happen to all the jagerbomb calves then...

Same story as the Ballylinney Beef Shorthorn carry on a few years back.

You will still be able to breed from all stock which have had their passports withdrawn by BCMS. But those animals can never leave the holdings they are now on, and can never go into the food chain.

Effectively they are worthless.
