Ifor or Indespension, what’s different

Hi all, need a trailer for my growing business.
currently using and borrowing fathers 14ft ifor flat bed . I’ve found a nice indespensiom plant. What is main difference eternal ifor and indespension?

I believe they will both rattle.
In fact, depending on age and model, the Indispension will rattle more. Heavy duty indispension trailers fit very curved leaf springs that don't deflect easily resulting in a hard ride.

On an ifor each side has its own leaf springs do two axles per spring. Is indespensiom the same or one axle per aping so four leaf springs assemblies rather than two? . I’m fairly mechanical minded so happy to do repairs and fit new bushes etc. the reason I like plant is it comes with mesh extension aides which is ideal for what I do

Only one upside to a Ifor and that’s its resale value, plenty of better trailers about

That’s what I can see! Gd105 vary in price from £3k for a ten year old one to £3k for a new one…..

Eh? Sorry I don't understand you.
What have you seen?
Two leaf springs per beam axle on any trailer I have ever seen. And I've seen a lot.

Remember there's a difference between how much folk are asking and how much they are actually selling for. Sadly I think too many don't realise this. Ok if you've one to sell I guess.

Just buy the Ifor @Robt, they are just like meccano, easy to work on, parts availability is the best, resale value good.

I think the plant are still on rubbers, indespension flat beds were very good, they took on the old Hudson design, but haven’t seen one recently.

don’t go rubber suspension especially if your loading heavy.

clip a stone they bend out easy, load em up heavy they start look out and scrubbing tyres

ifor carry the weight well especially triaxle but they do rattle empty get a back load

Agreed. Nugent have very good suspension. Reliable leaf suspension like an Ifor Williams, but with a rubber cushion to prevent the empty running rattle.
More expensive though.

I use two new Ifor Williams trailers on an almost daily basis. Nothing wrong with them.
