Ignoring members

I’m not blaming anyone that wants to contribute that’s up to them wouldn’t be a very good forum if no one contributed, I just fail to see how being a mod makes them exempt from being ignored or is that a privilege of being a mod that they can force content on people ?
I've no idea frankly. I just get on with joining in, don't even think mod when I was and when I was a member, doesn't change my outlook. Too much to get involved with positively. I guess a lot of the background mechanics are set by the folks that developed the generic forum platform not the owners or managers of TFF

Its not a setting as far as I know, its just a fact of using Xenforo as a forum. You have to endure the moderators. I guess its so they can give you warnings by posting and PM.

You are going to have to suck it up I'm afraid.

Fair enough , but as I said earlier it would be better to have a profile that doesn’t make any posts that only deals with pm if there is an issue that requires a pm then it should come from this profile that all mods have access too then simply signed off with their user name for transparency sake,
Just a thought not sure if it’s workable

Unfortunately that would mean we all need to be logged in as the central user all the time to see the reports coming in and deal with spam, trolling, drunk posting and so on.

And the mods are on here to read content and post as themselves. So need to be logged in as themselves.

So not workable at all.

well I would say that if you were doing something wrong, posting something you should not post,
then the mods can contact you to have a word in your ear, or give you a bollacking if they do that sort of thing,

if you had them on ignore, you would not see what they posted, and maybe not get a PM from them,

simple really,

Yes simple and pretty obvious really as you say

Of course others always know better however !

We cannot ignore some ,not all mods who have nothing better to do than post endless stuff

As I said. You are going to have to suck it up. Given the 300k word a day put on here you couldn’t read it all if you wanted too, so just ignore the stuff you don’t want to read.
