IH 1455xl PTO

Hi everyone , just wondered if anyone happened to know how to reverse the pto shaft end on an international harvester 1455 , as iv had a somewhat read of both service manual and operators manual and it doesnt seem to meantion the matter in either , there doesnt seem to be a cerclip just two holes parallel to each other on either side of the shaft possibly for a key?

Thanks [emoji1]

if you go on the Case website you can see an exploded diagram of the PTO
sadly it only shows a single ended 21 spline shaft
( do not be put off by compact tractor the Americans have different terms to us)
When these tractors were sold the standard was for tractors over 100 HP had 21 spline shafts 1000RPM outputs to stop people putting small equipment on

That's when horses were horses, don't expect IH thought anyone would want to put a haybob on one:D

Haha agreed however the 1000 shaft has worn away so the ball catch no longer catches [emoji51], and whilst i was on the matter wondered how easy it would be to fix eg just take the reversable end out etc

Which Case website was that? I looked at CNH parts and it couldn't find a 1455
