Anybody any idea/experience what the largest wheels that would fit the back of a 484 are? Fancy trying some 16.9/34's on her, want to sit her up abit (fancy trying the dinky sprayer out) and would be good to give her longer legs for running about on the road

12.4 x 36 should fit as the 485 could be specced with them.

...And the older 454 too.
I had a 475, came with 12.4 x 36, and I fitted ex MF 500 combine 18.4/15 x 26, same stud pattern, same overall height (for a coupke of days I used it with one of each..)
However it had rotten doors and I got some more from somewhere and they didn't fit, too short, those IH cabs all look the same but apparently they aren't, so there may be differences in mudguards too.
Sorry that's not much help, I would be 100% sure if you get IH or MF 34" wheels the studs will fit, but dunno if they would go under the wings

Thanks chaps, when I get time I might try swopping a wheel off my 4230. The 484 had a blowout baling the other day so I've got to sort out new rear tyres anyway-might as well use the opertunity to get different wheels on it

todays wet day experiment-try the 16.9/34 off the 4230 on the 484 to see if it clears the cab-it does by a country mile!!!! Now to find a pair.......
