How is it malicious if I’ve left an implement in the field?!Not against malicious wounding / jail you are not , you have to be a lot more subtle.
And if someone got hurt you would end up inside
If it was proven to have been left as a poacher trap you are in trouble , if it was proven just negligence you`d still be in trouble , the trouble with offensive traps is you`ll get someone who`s innocent , some old dear chasing after her poodle impaling herself on your strategically placed upside down harrows would not end well for you.How is it malicious if I’ve left an implement in the field?!

Personally I`d treat poacher management as a sport , I enjoy rifle shooting so covertly dropping long dogs , letting poachers tyres down and even a brawl ( although I am getting a bit old for it now) would make them think it was too much trouble coming on your land .
Wouldn't fancy your chances in court , plus after a night in the cells most people will cough to anything to get out.As these folk always say "your word against mine".
Write to the Chief Constable and your MP.And yet at the same time we are told to leave well alone by plod. Sigh. Like they are going to do anything.
And they'd treat you as sport too , ☹☹☹Personally I`d treat poacher management as a sport , I enjoy rifle shooting so covertly dropping long dogs , letting poachers tyres down and even a brawl ( although I am getting a bit old for it now) would make them think it was too much trouble coming on your land .
I`ve got the advantage of decent night vision and thermal imaging kit and the ability to take out dogs at well over 600 yards .And they'd treat you as sport too , ☹☹☹
You’ve got to be so careful though; they’re a vindictive lot. My uncle squared up to them once and when he got back to his truck all 4 tyres had been slashed. My dad did the same on another occasion and got a pair of binoculars across the forehead needing stitches.I always remember a story my dad told me
He said some gypsies broke into this farmers field and set up camp,
The farmer came and said he wanted them off to which they replied we want 1k to leave
The farmer went and got his digger and dug a big trench so they couldn’t leave and said when you want to be off it’ll be 1k
I really hope it was true
shame that was smashed and burnt in your field....We’ve never had much trouble touch wood , but the last couple of weeks there’s been folks driving over most farms locally , over drilled crops and stubble turnips etc. Locked our gates now as they’d been left open for muck spreading etc.
Early hours Monday morning they got stuck in a rut on neighbours field and abandoned ship . View attachment 989500View attachment 989502
It`s pointless confronting them if you are outnumbered unless you are Chuck Norris , better to take the dogs out at a safe distance , if you do it right they wont have a clue what happened, they`ll get fed up after a couple of outings and going home without their dogs. You’ve got to be so careful though; they’re a vindictive lot. I’d never confront them…different generation though. Id sooner go down the concrete route. Those barrier things look good; can’t help thinking a discovery would straddle them though But probably not the go-to Subaru Legacy estate…! You obviously haven't seen tranny vans pull???Weigh just over a ton
How the feck do people get stuck in a field with those conditions? Retards driving? We’ve never had much trouble touch wood , but the last couple of weeks there’s been folks driving over most farms locally , over drilled crops and stubble turnips etc. Locked our gates now as they’d been left open for muck spreading etc.

Jesus wept! Things must be quiet round my way we see none of these antics in Dumfriesshire!!
