NDVI / N Sensor images usually ask more questions than they answer.
Whats the limiting factor that stops the red areas being blue?
-Texture, pH, P, K, drainage, moisture availability in June, slope /aspect? etc etc

Resolving the issue with the limiting factor/s (if possible) would unlock the potential of the marginal areas and transform the bottom line. I’ve been chasing that holy grail for over 10 years...

As you say there are many factors that can limit potential, unfortunately the sensor can not address them all, but if used in conjunction with soil sampling / vr seed / vr nutrient etc then we are doing what we can to gain maximum productivity and reduce inputs and environmental impact.

Which application method was used in this case, Simon?

Strangely, I know a Simon Robbins who works for Precision Decisions, who has given me help with my ALS N Sensor... ;)
