I can go to the top of the hill for that
Just now you was moaning about brits abroad now you say they should go you want to make up your mind
Quite frankly I can't see what its got to do with you anyway you have your life over there and the best of luck to you we have ours here and if we don't want to bloody well go anywhere thats up to us
From recollection my comment was that a minority of Brits abroad give the majority a bad name, I also mentioned that it is a significant minority.
If you do not want to go anywhere that is entirely up to you,If the extent of your horizons is only the top of a local hill that is fine if you are content to stick in your own little bubble, however it can lead to a very insular xenophobic view.

Subsidy, or lack of it has been debated enough on this Forum, surely we do not want to get into that again, try getting off the farm ,travel down under and have a look, you may then see why I find it so funny.
what do the NZ government spend money on then ?
its all subsidy in one form or another

I would imagine they spend it on Infrastructure, Health, Education, Policing, Social Welfare etc etc, I would class that as a social service bit far fetched and frankly ridiculous to class it as a subsidy.

As previously mentioned I do not wish to enter into a subsidy debate, I am happy enough to farm without them and you seem to be happy enough to receive them, so we are both content on that score.

You should try it sometime ( visiting another country not aids) you may be surprised.

Went to Eastern Europe a few years ago, Bucharest to Prague, it has certainly got some issues, due mainly to 40 years of being behind the iron curtain, however the region seems to be improving, also went back to the UK to catch up with friends and family. One thought that came to mind after visiting both areas was how long will it be before the decline in the UK drops below the improvement in living standards in Eastern Europe resulting in the immigrants many do not want there returning home? Will the bigots be happy then?
I expect there has been improvements as there should be after all the eu money that’s been pumped in to them. But as I said if it’s so wonderful why come to the uk ? I don’t blame them they are being used by the politicians. I used to earn better wages 15 years ago but now there is an abundance of cheap labour no way can I earn that. It’s called supply and demand. You know like when there is a bumper harvest the price of the crop drops.

Best retrain or move .

Why should I pay to retrain, why should I move ? The wage I would need to earn to pay for rent or accommodation plus a car to get home at weekends or train fare etc assuming I don’t need a car to get to work from digs. That would be a huge wage I would need to earn.

In the quoted post you were complaining your current skill set doesn't earn you enough money in your current location.

You can change this by expanding your skill set or moving to a location where your current skill set is in demand.

Alternatively you could do nothing but complain on internet forums and expect someone else to solve your problems, but I think this may be less successful than the other two choices.
