Impact sockets

Hello, can any point me in the right direction of where to get some half inch drive impact sockets, looking for a kit preferably 8mm to 32mm , both normal and deep , there’s loads on eBay but a lot of them you don’t know who is selling them or quality , , thanks

I bought a small Makita set for my impact gun. Pleased with it so far.

I have makita and also some Halfords professional ones.

Both seem fine and the Halfords ones can be swapped fur free is they break.

Any tool suppliers will get you impact sockets, might be better off getting 2 kits with normal and deep rather than all in 1

Coloured ones are handy, or just put a few turns of different coloured tape round the common sizes

Same one here. No 8mm but if you need an impact to shift one of them you've got other problems. Had it off eBay on a voucher deal for £56

Rickerby`s had some on offer not long back
Draper, set I got was 15mm to 32mm I think

Had a Spaldings truecraft set here since mid-80's
Not used a huge amount, but none broken or (amazingly!) lost!!

(17mm and 19mm getting a bit worn though)

Hello, do you find have the reducer absorbs some of the power ? when i have tried 3/4 one on a 1/2 gun with a reducer or even a extension it seems it wont crack off really tight nuts as if the more joints you have the more it absorbs the shock , but maybe just me

Try not to use reducer I know I’ve had two reducers shear ,don’t know what make.
i was just saying they stand up to a 3/4gun no problem

We have quite a few iss sockets bought from our local tool suppliers. Mostly 3/4 drive and never had any bother with them
