From all the charts on good old Twitter it does look to have moved a little to the west from what was forecast yesterday.

I'm in the north west and its just starting to get a bit blowy here now, lot of local businesses closing up from 2 or so.
Spent the morning gathering up bits that could get air born and tying down everything else, and there was barely a breeze the whole time I was out. Let the cattle into the biggest field we have, which is also the most sheltered so hopefully they'll ll find a bit of cover in there. Back home now with the wife and wee man, sticks and coal brought in and charing torches. Be very surprised if we keep power, alot of leaves still on trees so would think a fair few will be brought down if we get what they r predicting

what the wind like now ?
Centre is to our south yet, so we've strong east winds with lots of rain right now. My belief is the worst will arrive in a few hours when the centre moves north of us and the winds change to west or south west as they'll be coming in off the sea then with no land interference.

Trees down, roof gone off a football stadium in Cork, one woman killed in Waterford. Lots and lots of power outages with esb networks saying it could be a week to ten days before all are back on.

It's not done yet.
