Implement tyre/bearing specs and tractor road speeds.

Are you finding that as new tractors are capable of higher road speeds ,you are having more blowouts with implement tyres as the implement tyres are not rated for the speeds that the tractors are capable of?

Up to the operator/owner to spec the correct running gear.
If you hook up to a 40 year old piece of kit with your 60kph tractor, you need to make sure that your driver knows to go slowly. Common sense, surely
Exactly,BUT, with the greatest respect some bosses whether they be the farmer,manager, or foreman may have the attitude to the employee “ why aren’t you going flat out,why did you take so long to get to X”. Well boss I took a long time as I didn’t want the tyre to blow out on the old implement I was towing.
Common sense is sometimes lacking with those who should know better. ;) :rolleyes::rolleyes:
