The tractor will be viable depending on purchase price and exchange rateIt’s a friends 10 series JD, I’ve not bought it just wondering if it’s viable
Thanks, I think this tractor will be worth £8-10k more in the UK & the roads aren’t salted so it’s immaculate. The tractor will be viable depending on purchase price and exchange rate
you're absolutely right.. standard or hi-cube.....even with the latter you will struggle to get a tractor in.. hence the reason most JD's arrive here as Ro-Ro cargo. If you can find a distributor who brings tractors in containers you might be able to "cadge" a set of steel slave wheels that allows the tractor to be lowered significantly and fit inside a hi-cube container....My opinion for what it's worth is the tractor is safer in container... there are 2 different height container available
and bleep bleep expensive Colin.. as the charge is based on volume..other alternative is a flat rack... but this also has height limitations and only limited spaces on boats as it usually has to go on the top of a stack of containers.Plenty of combines and foragers that go without being in containers
Hi cube with steel slave wheels used to work for all the McCormick's we brought in up to about 175 hp. We preferred containers , because they arrived in much nicer conditionI, perhaps wrongly, assumed that it would be too big for a container- tractors that went over at the time were all around 100hp and even without wheels on were tight against the roof in a container
Would you be Mark?Hi cube with steel slave wheels used to work for all the McCormick's we brought in up to about 175 hp. We preferred containers , because they arrived in much nicer condition
Correct..pick a prize off the top shelf....how ya doing?Would you be Mark?
