Bit of a long story but left me somewhat amazed. The week before Xmas I went to the dentist for a filling on back upper molar on left side, all seemed ok but after a few days I got a bleed in my left eye, swelling below the eye and it extended down my face to the jaw. At first I thought I had got something in my eye but then I worked out how close the point of injection could have been to that eye. I already had an appointment booked with the osteopath for my 6,000 mile service and mentioned it to her saying that I had no idea whether there was any connection at all between the dentist and the eye problem. She carried on with the normal stuff for a while and then said she was going to put on a glove and do some work inside my mouth, which she then did.
She then carried on with other stuff but had obviously been processing all the info, both what I had said and what she had found.
Then she asked if I had ever had a violent blow to the left side of my face. So I said that 46 years ago the first day milking in a brand new rotary parlour one of the first cows in objected to me going in between back legs and lashed out, catching me at full stroke on the left side of my face, lifting me off my feet and slamming me against the wall behind me, down which I gracefully slid unconscious while the Fullwood engineer was heard to say "Oh f--k."
Osteopath then says "well yes, that would have done it"
I don't know what she found in her examination but her forensic attitude to her work on my behalf left me gobsmacked.

Yes, credit to her, but I think I’d be asking my doctor why you had the bleeding and swelling, and should you be concerned.

+1 on osteopath. My last one also saw our horses and can’t say enough good things about him. He did acupuncture as well and being a sceptic he convinced me with a very analytical approach. Going to see an osteopath today, first time after moving so hope my experience is just as good.
