RCS have used paper grazing charts forever, but they were involved in the development of this software based on them, basically an electronic version
it is cloud based so you can share it with whoever if you want . . .

Have you seen this new thread?

(I know @hendrebc has)

https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/farming-grass-without-grazing.229772/#post-5133824

We have some land like that and I'm trying to work out how to get livestock onto it, not to manage it without livestock.
Sheep in the winter and cut in the summer

We have some on top the hill next to the main road that we never put cattle on its to much of a pain getting them there and back and going to see them every day. We cut it twice then it gets a good coat of straw dung and then keep sheep till Christmas it seems to work ok not ideal though

Edit. Click the blue button saying watch on vimeo. Save you reading the mext few posts were i think i cant get it to work but it does :sorry:

had to laugh at the differences . . .

reading through TFF its all about applying this product or that product, which chemical, which fertiliser, bag, bottle, drum, inputs, agronomists say do this, spray that etc etc

so, it made me smile today when I received an email from my ( independent ) agronomist today
it was to all his ( mostly arable ) clients
it included this video of the carbon cowboys & a TED talk by Allan Savory

A agronomist popped in here last week & I said " sorry I'm no use to you as I farm organically "
He replied " Well 10 yrs ago we all thought you were a bunch of weird hippies but now we're having to come round to your way of thinking "
We ended up having a good chat about soil biology .

I used to deal with 2 or 3 organic growers around the county, seeds and bits and pieces. Mostly it was about bouncing ideas around and talking through rotations and Pest control strategies. It’s where my deep seated hatred for the SA stems from! Ive always said both camps can learn from each other but there are closed minds on both sides of the divide... what ever that divide is.

Fair play to that agronomist for making a connection. Many organic growers refuse to talk and many agronomists head for the hills at the first mention of organic.
