another point, been lucky enough to have my covid jab today, reading the blurb that came with it, it contains genetically modified substances, will the people that demonstrate and rant about gm, have the jab, if they do, rather hypocritical, same applies to europe, with it's gm ban, and in there case, it isn't any good anyway !
But, all praise to the NHS, and whoever organised the jabbing, absolutely fantastic, 1 per minute today, well oiled conveyor belt, i was out and done in less than 5 mins, 9 jabbers jabbing ! It's a funny thing, but i sort of feel a weight has been lifted off me, haven't been, or really wanted to go far in the last year, but didn't expect to feel 'elated' either.
That is one of the main reasons I will not be having it. I go out of my way to avoid putting GM food in my mouth, why would I want it injected directly into my tissue?
The chinese vaccine is made the old fashioned way- culture the virus and kill it. I would consider that one, but then I think- the chinese are responsible for this mess, why would I want to use their vaccine? Canada does not manufacture any vaccines and we have sourced them from7 different places. Progress is slow as a result.

Slow progress is still better than no progress.

For us, a game changer in many respects, we're so much happier with our social life when we treat "go see someone" as a treat rather than something we're entitled to do.

"Because we can" suddenly became subject to a dynamic risk assessment, we appreciate it much more. Also we appreciate just what a family can do for one another!

I finished waching it in hospital this morning, id seen 40mins a while ago, another interesting talk and a few more things to think about.
He wasn't too keen on a lot of litter on the ground, good points about targeting a paddock or an area of land each year.
Iv'e plenty of time on my hands to do a lot of thinking about how to improve my lot.
Hospital? I hope your ok....

@Crofter64 I think the Johnson and Johnson vaccine (janseen is their other name I think?) Is made the old fashioned way with cultured and killed virus. Is meant to be much more effective too 100% is claimed vs 80% or whatever the rest are. The other vaccines were only made the other way so they could make it faster from what I understand. They ended up with a vaccine faster but ended up with something less effective and slower to produce. And it wasn't much faster in the end the Johnson and Johnson one is almost ready and they will be able to make it much faster when it is approved, and cheaper, And it works with one jab instead of one jab and a follow up booster.
The tortoise wins again

In normal times 3½ hours in hospital is an A&E wait. But now i guess you're in properly.
Hope you're ok and soon back home. 👍

Green with envy 🤢
I nearly am as well, got a whole tub of parts and spare bits - bowls, chassis, seals, end caps etc.

130 there (complete) so we may make the next systems 6ha and 80 cells, just go to 750m² cells instead of the 1000m², which we'll probably end up cutting in ½ one day, for laughs.

520 paddocks sounds like us

I see flexibility 😎 the more mobs we can easily run, the more cattle we can run at peak CC, and the better the hectares get to perform.

Really just looking forward to no more shoulder workouts 🥵 I hope I got points for trying
So you're going to "waste" even more "precious tractor time" moving mobs behind electric fence then..... :ROFLMAO: (y)

And here. Hope it's nothing too serious (and you aren't on a Covid ward).
I had a very sudden and very painfull head ache, like being hit with a sledge hammer thursday morning, i've broken a few bones but never had pain like that before.
Wating for a MOT before they let me go.

Got plenty of time to plan in here, only thing about this thread is once i've got a plan in my head about what im going to do, somebody comes along and says something or shows an article that changes my mind:ROFLMAO:

been blue lighted in to many times, but, once you are 'in' the system, they don't tend to let you out till you pass your MOT, the NHS nurses are fantastic, the managers are crap, or worse. They sussed my problem, i freeze up, and any movement is absolute agony, morphine, morphine, and naxodel, all caused by lifting to heavy weights as a teenager ! Luckily pretty well know the 'onset', and can dose prior to screaming !
But lets hope they sort you out, not a time to be in hospital.

It's great, eh, what it means is that your plan is actually yours, not someone elses ideal... nothing is perfect
