We have a continuous drier that is 12tph, and elevators running at 40tph. The combine is doing 50tph and this will only increase in the future. At the moment we tip so much in the intake pit and fill the wet bins that feed the drier. The rest gets tipped up around the pit and fed in later. The problem we have is that we don’t always have a second loader to load back into the pit. Ideally we want to increase the intake capacity and run it all into the wet bins. Just interested to see other people’s intakes, or suggestions. Was thinking of finding a high capacity auger straight up to the bins rather than replacing the pit and intake elevator. I need to be able to combine for 4-5hours before moving to another unit. So need to be able to get approx 250t into bins ready to dry. I would also like to swap the drier control panel to try and automate it. Who is there that would make panels and controls for driers? I don’t want to get rid of the drier. I don’t want to put floors in.
