can't avoid a hard border without creating a customs line in the sea....but unionists of all types don't want that....fair enough:)

the only way then to prevent the first two is for uk to remain in customs union....
....but eu won't allow that without free movement of ppl....fair enough:)

...but most leavers voted that way because they wanted an end to free movement....and thats fair enough:)


so all sides have their red lines and they all have a fair point.......but there can't be a deal can there?
 
To forefill everyone's requirements all you have to do is allow freedom of movement of people but not goods.

In other words let pedestrians, horses, bikes and most cars freedom.

Everything else has spot checks.

Case closed.

For the UK to remain in the customs union isn't dependent on the EU four freedoms, but it would limit independent trade deals. However, NI would additionally have to be part of the free trade area as well, to avoid a hard border.

isn't that what i said:scratchhead:...NI would have to accept free movement thus triggering a border with mainland thats a red line to unionists
