I’ve got a few hundred Lleyns with good scan. He can have them at £300 ex farm too.

I’ll start the inevitable race too the bottom. I’ll take £290 plus £1/head luck.
Unfortunately I think whoever told you that @sodbuster is being a bit out of touch with the market. If you get it then brilliant. But I think you’re at least £100 OTT. Lot of work too turn them into ewes and lambs.

BREEDING SHEEP

C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward a fantastic show of 1,000 breeding sheep of all classes at Longtown on Tuesday 25th January 2022. A huge ring side of customers all keen for breeding sheep, all stock would be seriously well bid for, with many buyers leaving empty handed. Selling to a top of £215 for a tremendous Beltex x three shear from R. Smith, Glenzier Gardens, who sold several other pens of shearlings at £205 & £200 x2.
R. Fry, Wynholm dispersed his lowland flock of Texel x and Suffolk x ewes to a top of £178 x2, £176 x2, £174 x2, to average £166.50 for 193.
WT Evans, Awhirk sold a run of enormous predominantly North of England Mule three and four crop ewes, scanned full of lambs to a top at £190 for Texel x, £175 & £168 for Cheviot Mules and North of England Mules to £170, £168, £165 x4.
