In what way is this NOT ridiculous...?

A chap in his 60s wouldn't confirm that he wasn't pregnant and, despite his having done so over five decades, was then turned away on going to donate blood... Staff at the clinic, in Stirling, said it is not always clear if someone is pregnant and the policy is in place to promote inclusiveness... :banghead: :arghh:

Including, it seems, everyone except those who refuse to kowtow to delusionary rubbish such as that a man can be pregant.

Watched a programme on telly years ago and based on a woman that was pregnant but the baby wasn't in the womb (forget what they called it now) they concluded that it would be possible for a man to be pregnant

Ectopic Pregnancy.
Baby grows in Fallopian tube which, I suppose, is the equivalent of the Vas Deferens?

Of course a man can get pregnant - if he was previously a woman but decided to re-identify herself. The staff in this case were just checking if he was or wasn't trans.

You been to Stirling ever? He looks more female than many of the women I've met from there.

Yes, it's stupid that it ended up like that, but if he'd just pulled up his big boy pants and ticked the box then it would a non-story.

Have been to and through Stirling many times, never noted anyone odder than elsewhere (by local standards, anyway (y)).

He made a stand on a point of principle, i.e. that common sense should be applied in everyday life. A man in his sixties who has been donating blood to the same organisation for the best part of fifty years simply shouldn't have to confirm that he isn't pregnant.

It is absurd and is the sort of thing that should be ignored at every opportunity; I have done so several times on forms from my local health authority and have had no problem yet; although one nurse did ask if she could tick the box for me, and I told he very politely but firmly 'No thank you.'

World swimming has banned transgender from swimming competitions, quite rightly too in MHO, it turns an average male swimmer into a good "female" one. If the woke element of this world want equality I'm all for it, if we all want to be equal then when it comes to sport lets have no male and female events, why not all compete on the same field, be that athletics, swimming, golf, soccer, rugby, tennis or any other sport, it is all ready the case for equestrian events so why not?

True. I can understand why they ask but at the end of the day, they want his blood and now they're not getting it. Their loss not his.
Don't blame him for drawing a line.
