Just out of interest, why do the government love shutting everything down?covid will roll on and on till the next big thing comes along, this variant that variant, its a **** show from start to finish. i do wear a mask out of courtesy to others but that's about it. the papers are having a field day that if they report hard enough they might get the government to shut everything down again... which they love. i do believe that an inquest in 5-10 years will make for interesting reading.
It's popular, seen the polls/election?Just out of interest, why do the government love shutting everything down?
You've said that before, but I just can't see itIt's popular, seen the polls/election?
You don't think the government is popular? You've said that before, but I just can't see it [emoji2369]
If it was not popular, that would be reflected in polls/elections.You've said that before, but I just can't see it [emoji2369]
Obviously, but I haven't seen why shutting businesses is popular. There's no cream having your business shut. You don't think the government is popular?
There are more winners than losers.Obviously, but I haven't seen why shutting businesses is popular. There's no cream having your business shut.
The government has been paying some businesses more to be shut than they normally made being open. There are more winners than losers.
Working from home is popular , thats assuming they did any .....There are more winners than losers.
No way. I'd say most are losing something. There are more winners than losers.

400 billion goes a long way
I know loads of people who are much better off financially...everyone working from home, everyone owning a home, the list is literally endless....hence the popularity. No way. I'd say most are losing something.
I know loads of people who are sick of it.I know loads of people who are much better off financially...everyone working from home, everyone owning a home, the list is literally endless....hence the popularity.
Hundreds of billions buy you popularity
I welcome your enthusiasm, compliance perpetuates it, jabbing, masking etc = complianceSo, how do we end it? Do we get jabbed or shall we have a mass protest? I'm in either way.
got my 2nd jab brought forward today, I've got no problem carrying your placard.I welcome your enthusiasm, compliance perpetuates it, jabbing, masking etc = compliance
Any links? From what I have been told it's not so much the spreading faster that's really the worry it's the fact that they believe it could be leading to far more long covid infections in younger people, maybe advising your youngsters who haven't had the jab to be a little careful might not be such a bad idea.
Just a tip from someone far closer to where decisions are made than we are, still early days but doesn't hurt to be careful, early on whatever was said publicly herd immunity in our younger people wasn't discouraged, this time they are not quite so sure.Any links?
