I had one base of my back... I was unaware and when the pain started I put it down to backache as we'd done 2 weeks clearing an with a shovel and barrow where the digger and dumper wouldnt go.
Ended up couldnt sleep properly had to lie on my belly and it was weeping watery blood so off to the Docs and he tells me its ingrowing hair.
Antibiotics saw this crazy horn thing grow full of gack that I was told to leave alone.. I broke it one night as I'd had enough and it was instant relief... gallons of gack and bit of a stench. Was right after that.
Dont let them go unsorted. They can cause no end of greif.
I had one on the side of the ball sack once, not one of my best moments when the pretty young nurse at the doctor's had to sort it out, my wife couldn't do anything for laughing ! But seriously if you get one in a delicate area get it seen to !
@ollie989898 sounds like one for you
Nothing I can't handle. Once you've seen one you've seen them all. Be sore as sin mind- skin in that region always feels a bit on the thin side and not much behind it...
Only a bollock or two!
Oh god ! I'm glad you weren't my nurse !They grow back fine... only need a split second and a good sharp pair of these:

You can always tell when someone's concentrating if they have there tongue stuck out ! That would put me completely at ease !Nonsense: I've a steadier hand than most of them, even stick me tongue out when I'm really focused.
Dont you lot use dehorning anesthetic and a old Stanley blade?Let's do it right , formaldehyde
Local chap is famous for self medicating. He’s wrecked his body and is riddled with pain due to a life of hard work and no care and badly mended bits and pieces.
He has his foot in a shopping bag and a split welly to let bunions hang out the side.
He tried removing growths a few years back with a caustic stick.
Poor sod.
