Ink jet printer

I need a new printer.
I cant decide whether to go for a cheap printer with cartridges, or a more expensive printer with "tanks" Im erring on the tank printer.
Can anyone recomend a decent printer witht he following spec
colour printer
scanner
duplex printing
wifi/ethernet connection

Duplex printing is outside my knowledge but I have been very pleased with an Epson-2650. Just reached the top up stage for the black ink tank but there is plenty left in the colours.

I guess you would need to print every second page and reverse collate to easily do both sides. My printer is directly coupled but wi-fi etc. available.

Saved a fortune in replaceable cartridges! And very little trouble with jet blocking.

something like A brother dcp l3550cdw. Just set our new one up.... seems ok so far.

Get a tank printer if you use a lot of ink and print quality pictures. Otherwise get a laser printer.
Make it quick though because there is a severe shortage of microchips, including those that are inside printers and the price is rising exponentially and bound to both cause a shortage of products for sale and the inevitable price rises. Anything you buy today will probably seem a fantastic bargain by mid-summer.
I get on well with the Canon MG7750 inkjet all in one that has all the features you want. It has six individual cartridges and quality non-Canon replacements are available at sensible prices. It does quality photo printing should that be your thing. Not the best, because it does not use pigment ink, so they won't last 100 years even using genuine ink.
If you use a printer a lot, but not for for many photos, inkjet is great. If you print lots, especially photos, it gets expensive. If you only rarely print or rarely print colour, you run the risk of blocked nozzles. So if really great colour quality isn't important and running cost more important than purchase cost, go laser.

Have an epson 7750 tank printer
After about three years am now nearing empty on the bottles of ink that came with it.
They are not expensive to replace at about £50 for five bottles.
However you do have to replace the waste tank as well every couple of years at £15
Also They are not so good for photo printing in my opinion

Ive bought Cannon G3501.
only single sided, and quite noisy in use but seems ok...
orgered it from Argos about 4pm yesterday and was delivered by 7.30 this morning. Very impressed with that
