Insect Protein is Vegan

Fluid, alright. I was recently questioning a woman on the internet who didn't want to rub eggwhite on her skin "as I'm vegan" but was using her partners semen as a substitute

I suppose it does come from nuts but I did feel compelled to discover her logic in choosing one over the other on a "because I'm vegan" basis 🤔

I would hazard a guess that, being a vegan, she isn’t a big fat lass.
Just as well, otherwise her partner would surely struggle to produce enough for good coverage.

No.
It is my view that insects will form the basis of protein in an ever expanding world population either directly or via animals

Yes - agree it's going to be big in animal feed. But that will require some legislation changes as the gov don't view insects as vegan right now.

BSE is stopping inclusion in cattle feed. It will change and insects will replace soya

Invest now

(Of course it could go the way of the great ostrich scam ...)

Well I just had a funny call. The vegans who kept on about it at my sister's birthday party have recently moved, and they just wondered if they could borrow my postknocker and bar to put in a new fence round their garden. Shirley a postknocker is a symbol of animal oppression  .

Surely fences stop animals roaming free as per their natural inclination... ban the fences!

I had a conversation with a vegan female once on a similar subject, won't go into details, her response was that true veganism is about permission and non exploitation. Therefore if she had the animals permission to eat it she would.
I now follow this, when I eat meat I always ask the meat on my plate if it is OK to eat it, if it does not reply with a no then I assume it is an affirmative and I go ahead and eat it.
I believe they think it is a matter of consent. I guess her partner didn't object.

When confronted by accusations that farmers allow their livestock to be 'raped', I asked for any examples of informed consent within nature.

They didn't give any.
That was the basis of my enquiry into it, I mean the eggs are just gonna sit there in their little carton until someone either buys them to eat, or wipes them on their face.

Asking them questions doesn't alter that
