Inserting a Word document in a Post

I tried to include I page of a Word document in a post. I clicked on "Upload a File" and found it in My Documents, opened it and the title appeared (in blue) below the box for typing in the post. I clicked on it but the page does not appear in the box. What do I do?

Screen shot the document and upload that image. More than one page you will have to screen shot each one.

Dont think you can load a word file on the forum??

It won't appear in the post as such. It will appear as an attachment and when clicked will be downloaded to the viewers machine to be read.

it needs to be either pdf or docx format to be able to upload here.

Forum will accept these formats (zip, txt, pdf, png, jpg, jpeg, jpe, gif, docx, doc, ppt, pptx, csv) some can be placed in the body of a post, some will appear as a downloadable attachment.

I tried printing it out and scanning it back into the computer as a jpeg, but it still doesn't show the page already opened. It's posted now in Off Topic.

Open your document in Word

Press control and a together, that should select all of the document.

Now right click, select copy.

Back at TFF, open dialogue box and right click in box and select Paste(or alternatively press control and v together).
