Bought it on a whim, as he was at the Ludlow food festival, but John Challis (boycie from fools and horses fame), autobiography called Boycie and beyond, has been a very good read. So much more to the bloke than meets the eye!

Enid Blytons ... The Land of far Beyond (1942) which was a sort of children's version of .... Johns Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress (1678). Both these books have been inspirational in my life, the first one in my early childhood and Bunyans in my late teens / early 20's.
