Insulating box profile plastic coated roof

Maybe 12 years ago it was insulated with those polystyrene sheets held up with wooden lathes but now the birds have it wrecked. Would spray foam be as attractive to the birds? Or is there anything else that would do the job? The birds even have pulled out the rubber things that sit between the tin and the last timber to get in, when we tightened up the roller door seals

What kind of birds? I’d get rid of them before I spent any more money on insulation.

Bird do it here too. F ers will roost in the shed and crap over everything. Have a sparrow hawk that come around here on occasions and they disappear over night but so does the food that attracted them. Good way to reduce the numbers is either anti freeze soaked into wheat or shut the doors and a Smokey tractor left running for a couple of hours while they are inside. If it’s a small area they aluminium mosquito screen will protect the insulation from birds and mice.
