As above, been with the mutual for many years but cannot support them due to their support of the NFU and it's support of RT. Time for change.
F & M are brokers aren't they tough?Acres - @Nigel Wellings VERY happy with the service we have had from them and the prices, no problem on a few claims we have had
Moved from NFU to F&M who were cheaper than NFU (half the price in fact !!). they were good, no issues re claims etc
I'm finding cars best insured with no farm insurers - @Kate_PaceWard is good, I have some with them

Does the NFU Mutual Insurance Society have anything to do with Red Tractor?
Personally, I moved my insurance several years ago in order to save a considerable amount of money (I’m still an NFU member currently though).
I’d suggest using a broker, rather than going to any one insurance company. I use Caleb Roberts, who I would happily recommend, but I’m not sure whether they cover that far down.
I agree but a lot of people seem to think that they are actual insurers (like NFU Mutual).as are most - what does that matter ? in fact it lets them shop around with underwriters to get you the best deal surely ?
