Hi, Appologies if this topic has been covered.

Has any had any experience of intro weeding ( mechanical type) if so what are your thoughts.

I'm not an organic farmer but now im running a Mzuri i have a wider row in which to work with.

Hoeing

What are you thinking in terms of hoe to work on 30cm rows - Einbock, Garford, modified Beet hoe or similar? Steering? Not sure yet, looking at options. Will definitely need an eye of some sort.

about to have a go with a claydon terrablade this afternoon so will let you know. the garford we tried a few years ago wasn't man enough on clay.

We used to routinely do it in our summer row crops
But that is with 1metre row spacings
