Morning all. Just to let you know we are about to publish our first set of results from the Yield Survey. We have already had over 30,000 hectares up until early October submitted and hopefully this first set of results will encourage a few more people to keep submitting their data.

I am going to start an individual thread for each crop type, so you can then have discussions without them getting mixed up.

But these are the headline average figures across all crop varieties figures:

Crop - Tonnes produced per Hectare

linseed - 2.50
peas - 4.09
spring_barley - 7.18
spring_beans - 5.49
spring_oats - 6.68
spring_osr - 2.50
spring_wheat - 7.13
winter_barley - 8.63
winter_beans - 4.31
winter_oats - 7.62
winter_osr - 4.08
winter_wheat_feed - 9.60
winter_wheat_milling - 9.44

Including data submitted up to 1st October 2015.

Further to these headline results, if you have submitted data to the survey then you will receive a spreadsheet with the Summary Results in that you can look into the data in a bit more detail, for instance measurement type, grown area and region. All the actual submission data has been removed, so the summaries are totally anonymous, but the details will allow you all to make better decisions going forward.

ONLY people who have submitted data will receive this spreadsheet.

So thank you for being part of our Yield Survey in 2015.
